Delivering a complete content package for the leading awards for startup companies in the technology sector. We created all the visual assets for the event, banner ads, social media visuals, display graphics and a dynamic presentation for the night. Our video team filmed the event and interviewed all the award winners.
We started by redesigning the logo and brand, which provided the creative core of the project. The brief was to create a modern logo with a vibrant brand that reflects the innovative and youthful energy of startup brands. While the design of the new logo is a far cry from the original, we kept the crown to retain an element of the event’s legacy. Different variations of the logo were created to incorporate the Startups Magazine logo, who conduct the awards alongside the headline sponsor.
We created all the visual assets for the event, including banner ads, social media visuals, display graphics and even a dynamic presentation for the night. Every asset was derived from the branding work we did at the beginning of the project. We applied key colours, images, and patterns to deliver a strong and consistent visual theme throughout.
We created a dedicated awards website to promote the event and also incorporated our awards management portal, which provided a comprehensive means of submitting award entries, a complete assessment process for judges and overall administration of entries and scoring.
The awards required an updated physical trophy to match their new image. It was part of our remit to provide the trophy maker with a design to ensure that the trophy remained coherent with the rest of our branding. The focal aspect of the trophy was, of course, the crown. As well as being part of the logo, it played on the idea of crowning the winner of each category. Furthermore, the design also became a bit of a meme, as many of the winners were photographed holding the crown trophy above their heads.
We built a portal to manage industry awards. This handles entry payments and allows people to enter the awards, in any number of categories, and then submit written content along with files and links. Once submissions are complete there is a separate section for judges to evaluate and score each entry and an admin section to view the final results. The portal can be adapted to suit any type of online awards submissions.
On the night our video team filmed the event and interviewed all the award winners. This will be created into a promotional video for the next year. By offering a complete package for awards organisers we improve the promotion of the event, manage the entries and judging better and help deliver a spectacular event on the night.
